HEALTH AND SAFETY
HEALTH AND SAFETY
We believe that providing the best care starts with the best caregivers. At Atrio Home Care and Atrio Help at Home, we bring together the best in-home care services with the most dedicated care providers to put health & safety at the center of everything we do. Although infection control has always been integral to providing the highest level of safety and care for our clients, given the circumstances of COVID-19, we understand you may have some concerns about our staff caring for multiple clients in multiple locations. In response to this, we wanted to outline the steps we’ve always taken as well as additional steps we’ve added to ensure the safety of our clients, their loved ones, and our staff so we can get better, together.
COLLABORATING TO BRING YOU THE BEST CARE
Over the years, Atrio has not only become a part of a resilient West Michigan community but has become a leader of this community. Because of this, we are able to provide our staff and those we care for with countless resources. Collaborating with other West Michigan in-home care providers has helped us ensure the safety of patients and their loved ones during these times. Since in-home care and help at home services are usually very hands-on, we had to adjust. With the collaboration of other organizations, we have been able to find solutions to continue providing exceptional at-home care, with an even greater emphasis on health and safety.
PUTTING EXTRA PRECAUTION INTO OUR PROCEDURES
In addition to our existing infection control protocols along with strictly adhering to CDC guidelines, we have put our experience and expertise to use to implement the following:
Our staff follow extensive disinfection protocols between visits and are fully equipped with face masks and face shields, isolation gowns and other personal protective equipment as needed to keep everyone safe.
In addition, our staff are continuing to follow social distancing and hygiene guidelines such as wearing face masks and routinely disinfecting individual work areas.

These times have required adjustments for all of us. As in-home care providers, we are used to being in close contact with others and therefore, infection control has always been central to providing the highest level of care possible. We have taken great care in re-examining our current practices and put additional ones into place. We can assure you we remain committed to our mission of providing the highest level of care possible to our clients while keeping them, their loved ones, and our staff safe.
